Hi there all off u . I allready introduced myself on the new mebers page http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/new-ae86-...ium/t/5840 and got the car finally at my place so the project begins
Pics whill follow soon.
I allready had ordered the genuine parkinglights at work and they just get in today. offcourse I put them on the car as fast as I could Big Grin

Next :
- Strip the car as much as nessecary
- Sand the whole thing
- Paint it in original metalic toyota colors (allready have some in mind Wink )
- Update the supspension
- Som other rims
- Update the exhaust
- Update the intake

and thats about it for now
I hope there not to much rust but I don't think thats the problem allready put her in the air today and checked the whole thing out again Wink so I think I am a lucky bastard Tongue

Just started with som cleaning the interior. got the rearseats out , the rear sides out so only the metal and soundkillers ar still in Big Grin I also removed all off the brachets for the seats and sides. pretty much rust free Wink

I'm going to make an apointmentsoon with the paintshop

just blow the engine today Sad
but don't worry be happy Wink going to get the engine out as soon as possible and do a full chepc up and changing everything so its gong to be new Wink
in the meantime the car is going to go to the paint shop
and then the works really begin

don't know what happened excactly :s did a few donuts and a few moments after the temprature goes sky rocket and my crankshaftbearings where broken or something like that :s I think its my fault
but its going to get all of the bearing and seals new original by toyota

haha hmm why invest in pistons and all that stuff if u wanted to keep the 16v engine, if u do it correct now it'll be good for a long time

the pistons don't going to be changed if not nessecary only the bearing and seals on the whole engine block no cams crankshaft or pistons r going to get changed if they r still good
(om int nederlands te zegge sorry voor de niet nederlandstalige een gewone volledige revisie kit van dichtingen en lagers(schalen) )

Sounds like you blew your headgasket.

Gotta watch the water temp when doing burnouts.
I got scarred one time when I was doing burnout in the poring rain.
It was so wet that the tires spinned very easy, the engine revved high with ease. Water temp start rising also because of th high revs...so I slowed down for a bit. Smile

PS. I would also measure the crankshaft before ordering bearings to look if it's damaged or needs oversized bearings.
