the halfshafts are a different diameter, so you need a matching lsd, other than that the rest is the same and interchangable.

a zenki LSD does not fit on kouki halfshafts so no you can't do that. Like Jon sais, you can use your kouki rear axle with ring and pinion and brake mounts and all that, but you will have to get the zenki LSD AND zenki halfshafts! Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi

Are the halfshafts longer or shorter or it is just the end size of the halfshaft that goes into LSD unit ? I was wondering why they maked the lsd in kouki model different. So you don't need the casing for the half shafts ?

the casing is the same, but the halfshaft diameter increased between the two models.

I was told that if the last six numbers in the vin is higher than 200000 your 86 has the strong rear end... Can anyone confirm this?
