Which engine is in the trueno after the breakdown?
I'd say like this. If I was a rich boy that had like too much money. I'd buy your car and keep it for you. Nope not even take it for a spin. It seems like you've worked so hard for this and have to sell it. It make me all teary T_T.

Is all black limited a 101 engine ? Is that the one that revs to 11000 rpm according to Initial D and give's out 250ps.

When I saw your bay you had turbo also in it O_o. But the power seemed to be similair to an regulair AE92 engine. What's up with that ?

Euh, not to be offensive, but in Initial D they did not put a 101 engine in the hachi. It looks like one, but it is in fact a Formula Atlantic engine.

Neither does simon have a 101 engine or turbo in the car: it's supercharged. Smile

Simon Goes Sideways Wrote:Hi guys,

Mine is an AE101 engine, however is it the supercharged variant rather than the 20V one.

Its not a high revving engine and by the time you reach about 6000rpm the power begins to tail off, however it wil happily rev to the limiter in each gear (not done it in 5th yet) and it still rips along quite nicely.

Cheers

Huh? The 101 4agze is 16v? Confused

Edit:
Nevermind, should have read the specs at Billzilla:

Really i didn't know it was that Tongue.

Hmm did i mention in Gran Turismo the game there was an special hachi you got when winning the 80's cup.

A Modified, Hachi Roku with an colfibre hood Big Grin and it reved up to 10500 rpm around.

Bleh that's why you can't trust these damn fan subbers Tongue.

Anyway I wonder how the hell you'd laid your hands on a Formula Atlantic engine Tongue

EDIT: found some info about the engine.

Could we please stop discussing the initial d engine already...
Think about it...formula atlantic was a USA racing class, not japanese..Plus the fact that atlantivc is 16v while the ID engine was 20v,
resembling the group A spec 20v more...who cares anyway, it's a cartoon people...

It's very easy: a Group A Spec TRD 4A-GE 20V Smile

In general it's possible to copy it, but it'll cost lots of money Smile

I'll check if i can find some in my TRD Levin/Trueno Bible Smile
