Ok I want to pull some stuff off my car. One cus i dont need it and two I want to clean up the motor some.

Heres what i want to yank:

1. EGR
2. AFM
3. PS system
4. A/C system

Heres what I need to know.
1. Does anyone make a EGR removal kit?
2. If I pull the AFM what does it take to go to MAF?
3. Will the car be real hard to turn with out PS?

I can help with switching from AFM to MAP... you need to take a vaccum line that goes to all for of you cylinders and tap into it... then you need to get a MAP sensor and put it into container such as a fuel filter container and tap into your vaccumm with that in there.... wire into your ECU and tune it right... thats where I dont know because what im doing is switching the silvertop from AFM to MAP but I have the help of megasquirt but with a stock ECU I dont know how that will work. but thats mechanically how you can switch from a AFM to MAP... also the reason why you go from all four cylinders to so that you get a constant vacumm reading for your MAP instead of whenever the cylinder goes down...

got that?

sandard stuff will do. But why do all that hard stuff?

for ac you need a difrent steering rack as far as i know. you can toss ac off without problems.

EGR can be tossed away as well. but the afm I don't know if the standard US ecu can read diffrent.

Besides what kinds of exciting stuff will you be doing for wanting that?

MAP will need a MAP-spec ecu, map sensor (inside the throttle body will do, pickup should be there, just need the sensor and a piece of hose) and some modifications to the wiring loom (or an entire wiring loom from a MAP car).
PS system cannot be removed in a straightforward manner. The fluid will make the car steer very heavy. You either need to loop the lines so that there is equal pressure across the rack, or remove the middle divider from the rack (need to disassemble the rack and grind it of) or use a Manual Steering rack.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

What car will I find wiring loom and ECU I need?
Will the wiring loom plug right in to all my plugs?

I dont mind keeping to PS if I could find a belt that would let me yank the A/C. Its not like the PS pulls that much power.

From club4AG:
You will need:
Manual Rack
Passenger side lower bracket or T3 bushing
Manual column or extended power steering column

The manual rack can be sourced from either a manual AE86 or an AW11 MR2 (which were all manual I think? Dumb question )

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear
