I found one big fucking problem already while taking a look at my rear axle this evening. Somehow the bottom bolt holding the rear left brake caliper has shaken off and has gone AWOL on me. Results of this: the upper bolt has bent and the slide bush was completely stuck.
Looks like I'll have to order some new brake components, install an axle with a good bearing and hope for the best....I'm glad I have alternative transport for the moment, who knows what might have happened with the ae86 if I would have kept on driving it like this.
