Currently getting painted in a custom brown/rootbeer mix with gold pearl. Should be a really deep color when it's done Smile

I'll keep updating as I go however if you want to see more:

Yeah the F20C goes alright, based on the current mods, it should make a tad over 160kw atw.

I will probably paint my car myself as well.

I was thinking to wrap a section of the garage in folie (floor, walls, ceiling) and put and put a fan for air suction. I have one with all the ancillaries laying around and the I was thinking to put some kind of filter at the air supply.

Could you give any pointers how to prepare a garage the best way?

Once again, great color.

Waiting patiently to see the final result Thumbs up!

cheers

Philip

Hey Phil,

you need some drop sheets (i bought 3M 99" wide ones) and strapped them to the walls and the roof.

Cover the floor with water so when you walk around the car, you don't kick up dust that will stick to the paint

With anything, prep is the key. Clean the heck out of your garage and don't let dust in.

I got no dust in my basecoat which is great but a few little spots in the clear. Once the car is cured i'll buff the clear back and it'll be ok.

Also, don't paint in the cold or the paint will take too long to dry and haze up, you need it to dry as fast as possible between coats
