It's a good thing you're going through all rust at the moment: wait another year and those spots will be a lot harder to fix. Those are nasty spots which hold the water for a long time on the bad spot. Angry

I can take a guess at which garage this came from in Japan just by looking under the bonnet to see the car was originally red. I can't remember the name of the garage but they are well known for respraying red hachis (probably due to the faded paint issue). Anyway, I agree with Mux, your cars colour is nice as it is. The only advice I would give is to take the wheels (if you havent already) to a specialist and have them polished up. They look great but I just know they would stand out when shiny Thumbs up!

the car is midnight purple, and badly needs a respray, lol i just sold the 17" white alloys for £600

the supra rims need polished up Big Grin
which i am going to get done


the roll cage is coming out on sunday to get painted black again as it is covered in shitloads of scratches

bringing the roof lining off for a good clean, and bringing the dash out to felt it Big Grin

Thats a shame, surely the car couldnt have had a respray that long ago. Personally I like the midnight purple, it's a unique colour and will make you stand out from the pack without looking tacky (lime green etc), you could probably use it as your signature colour. Either way, I look forward to seeing those wheels sparkling Thumbs up!
