I do agree and don't at the same time. It will never be finished in the same sense as an enthusiast car is never finished (there's always something to add/improve) but Chris will finish it to the extent that it's very play- and enjoyable.
Will it take time? For sure all godd things do, does it bother me? Not the least - considering PC hardware isn't completely up to the job for it yet, that's even a good thing.
If I would need to hazard a guess I'd say about 2 years out. But Squadron 42 (first singleplayer campaign) might be done by X-Mas
