STAGE ONE IMPORTS - BEWARE
Yes some US companies are BAD BAD BAD at shipping stuff, even to buyers here in the US. For example... Toysport will take OVER 9 months to ship you ANYTHING, even though I live in the same state as their shop is!

I apologize on behaf of the companies that suck.

STAGE ONE IMPORTS - BEWARE
I need to order some parts from stage one (Tokico HTS click adjusters).
I have sent them an email in the past and they said they could sell me some separately (they only come as an option when you buy the full damper kit). I dropped them an email last week to ask about shipping costs and have not heard back from them yet.

Hope they do as this seems to be the only place outside of japan you can get them from.

Regards Ian.

STAGE ONE IMPORTS - BEWARE
Hi everyone

I´m still waiting the money tranfer. Confused

An option...
Instead of stage one imports, try http://www.greenline.jp/ , they're fast and the price is good, in most they're stuff line up. They're Japanese, and this says it all.

My experience with stageone was OK actually. It took about 50 days to get a set of cusco engine moynts and a tranny mount from them. No problems.

I guess I was lucky or maybe you were unlucky Lipinhu. Of course the way they treated you is very unprofessional, but that's a risk you take when ordering through the web.

Good luck!

Well, today I checked my email box, and there was a email from stage one imports with paypal contents. I´ve been full refunded. I lost some euros due to the dollar price (is now lower than when i made the payment) and paypal fees, something like 40\50 euros. Better this than nothing.

I must say again that I´ve made the payment in Augost 22nd last year, and only now i´ve been refunded.

Definetly a bad expirience and I hope not to deal with them again, even if the last bolt I need to build up my corolla stands there.

For those who checked my website, i had a link to them in the link section, now is gone, why? Yummie!

For those who emailed me from the us who gave their time to try help me out, Thanx.

There is NO reason for that kind of wait. I do tech email response for a # of automotive internet retailers.... http://www.cyberauto.com is one of them. There is no justification for that long a wait.
Slow - waiting a week to ship stuff through the postal service(cause you are to lazy to go and sit in the PO for 30-60min)... as opposed to FedEx pick up. There is NO reason for ANY order to take more than 6 months..... NONE! Surface freight from Japan takes at worst 12 weeks(3 months)... so another 3 month delay is just SHITTY customer service.

Heres my advice... find a company reliable.... stick with that company.... and if you happen to see an item advertised elsewhere for a few euros cheaper.... think about how much you like the reliability of the parts supplier who does offer quality customer service.... that extra euro or two is worth the peace of mind

Don't you know yet? Price is all thats important. Better to buy cheap low quality parts you never get, then expensive parts with good service Big Grin

I'm joking offcourse but especially here in Holland, you really feel that quality and service is no longer admired if it costs extra. To badly translate a dutch saying, "people want to sit in first row for a dime".

Nothing to do offcourse with the shipping problems mentioned here, there is no justification for that. I do have to add to that remark though, being an admin, that we've only heard one side of the story and allthough I have no reason to doubt Lipinhu's story, Stage One hasn't commented on this. There is no way of knowing if this is their way of doing business, or if Lipinhu was the unlucky customer where they got it wrong. Every shop makes mistakes (though again, the best shops show themselves in the way they handle themselves when they make mistakes).

If you´re running a shop, its you job to keep costumers with you.
If you're not able to offer a service, than you better stay out of it. You dont start by saying "OK, two months", and spend another 2 months saying "Your parts will arrive any day now." and more 2 months saying "we will take care of the situation. In last case we will refund you".

I kept every email, and I can prove that everithing I stated is TRUE. Its not my point here to put Stage One Imports name "in the mud", but to tell my experience. Off corse that i´m not happy with that and I doubt that anyone here would be happy in my place. Its my side of the story, but it is my story.

About 2 months ago I posted on hachiroku.net and told about this situation. Some guy (sorry, I cant remmember now) replyed that he waited 4 months, must say that he is located in the states. This one got me REALLY worried.

A company that works this way, shouldnt even open its doors.

I think, as costumers, that we have the right to tell everyone about our experiences with A, B or C company. Dorito86 stated that he was ok with stage one imports, I dont doubt it.

I´ve heard lots of times that "the best commercial you can have is your customer". After this, its obvious that i´ll not buy again from them, and i'll not encorage anyone to do so. I lost, Stage One imporsts lost 2 costumers (i dont think this is even relevant for them),we all lost.

Everithing is ok now, thanx guys.

I´ll buy my bushings from AEU86.org
