Removing brake dust covers?
Hey people,

I have a pretty lame question on my mind (as usual).

Its a quite logical thing that the lower the unsprung weight is the "better" (please note the comma Smile ), and we're talking every single grams here. Removing the disc brakes dust cover seems as a pretty good idea from this point of view(plus its quite simple and cheap). But the thing that worries me - is it "safe"?

I dont have any expirience at all with this issue, and though Ive never heard of any damage caused by a small stone or whatever because of the cover was removed I can pretty easiely imagine something like that happening.

Thanks a lot to everyone for help!!
