RB2686
Totally robbed off Driftworks,
Mental, Wouldnt be a fan of this kind of thing, but I have recently dabled with "The Dark Side",,, so I am tarnished.... The car was built in Cyprus by C.Christou Racing, not only they swapped an RB26 in a Corolla, but an s14 rear subframe and used a 5 speed gearbox. They didn't cut the floor but they had to extend the front and added an R34 front end too ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
An 86 is for Life, not just for Christmas |

But I thought the S13, S14 and S15 had hicas as option in Japan...
![]() Anyway, this is insane! Not only did they swap a RB26, but also they chose the RB26DETT! That's "officially" 280HP in stock form! Imagine what this tuned version does! ![]() I hope the R34 front is only a joke!

With a after market exhaust and clutch, boost controller and ECU change my R32GTR put out 400bhp. It ran a 12sec quarter mile and 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds. I expect a RB26 powered AE86 with drag tyres fitted to be quicker. |
