Click from steering
getting a nice click from the steering when turning. problem somewhere.

I have a manual rack

was thinking power steering knuckles to improve the lock while i am sorting this problem

Probably some play in the steering rack or other steering parts.. if it's the rack you're in for a bunch of work.

If it's coming from the passenger side it could be the rack bush, available from Toyota at a very reasonable cost. Fitting involves dismantling rack and pushing in new bush, not too bad but the hardest part is getting the old bush out......... I now have an answer to this though Smile

lol had a quick look today click is coming from pasenger side

but sounds like it is coming from near the wheel

going to investigate tomorrow

Hmz...I need a rackbush for my volvo but they only sell the damn thing as a whole. But that doesnt cause very much noise tbh.. Just give it a good look and i'm sure you'll find the problem.

well after further investigation

it was the brake pipe that runs just behind the disk, easy sort it had came loose lol
