Hi-

Name is Ryan. I'm a newb from the USA...San Diego/Chula Vista, CA to be exact. I am usually on Club4AG, Zilvia, or SDDrift but thought I'd sign up here as well. I purchased this Corolla back in 2002 with 159,xxx miles and it was bone stock and unmodified....and needed a lot of work like most usually do. Almost 7 years later...this is my progress so far...a lot of hard work, late nights, trial & error, and $$$ has been put into the car. It has about 165,xxx miles now. Anyways, hello and here is my 86 (1985 Toyota Corolla GTS) sponsored by Vertex-USA in San Diego, CA.

2002 - Purchased the 1985 Toyota Corolla GTS...bone stock! A full tune up at a local Toyota dealership was completed soon after car was purchased. Ended up replacing the exhaust manifold with a brand new unit...original was cracked. Car remained stock for almost a year except for the addition of Nology Hotwires, JIC Front Carbon Strut Bar, Cusco Rear Carbon Strut Bar w/Cusco Tri-Bar, and JDM Rear Hatch Bar.



2003 - Started modding the car
Installed TRD Headgasket, Eibach Pro-Kit Springs, Tokico Blue Shocks, Advan Oni 15x7 +15 (front) & 15x7.5 +2 (rear), HKS Mushroom Air Filter, Defi Heads-Up Display, Pivot Fan Control, Momo Tuner Steering Wheel, Quick Release, Braodway Mirror, Razo Weighted Shift Knob, Attain Hi-Throttle Pulley, T3 Drift E-Brake Knob, TRD Thermostat, and Koyo Aluminum Radiator. Primered bumpers and hood black for fun.




2004 - More mods...
JDM Kouki Bumpers, Brackets, & Bumper Lights, 88Rotors Slotted Rotors (front & rear), Modified Inc. JBlood Style Carbon Fiber Sidesteps & Rear Fins, Brand New Toyota Clutch Master & Slave Cylinders, Trust 4AGE Lightened Flywheel, Illegal Garage Clutch, Sparco Drivers Seat & Sparco Rail, Modified Inc. This was my build in a nutshell. Still want to add more parts..maybe go turbo or supercharged but smog laws are very strict in California...makes me not want to do anything else to the motor. Thanks for looking!!!

Thanks! I dont have many pix of the interior or engine...its nothing special really though...interior is just Recaro seats and stock maroon interior. Motor is a pretty much stock bluetop 16v 4AGE. I'll post some pix hopefully some time this weekend.
