+++UPDATE+++

Yesterday I found a few hours to work on my car! Thumbs up!
Here are some pictures...

First I cleared the engine compartment and took of the fenders. No rust, wohoo! Hurray!

After that ein took out the hole chassi and cleared the interior.

Well done! After that successful day I took this picture of my little brother and my sisters boyfriend who worked on a Vespa 80 Spezial and helped me well when I needed a third hand. Thanks for that!
Smile

2 days ago I bought the rims. They looked a little bit mad, course nobody cleaned and polished them up for the last 2635years! Tongue
So, there´s the effect of 2 minutes brushing and cleaning! Thumbs up!

See you next time, Roman Wave

Can you be more specific with the tools and other additives/creams you used to manage that ???
Thanks

On the first pic (the before/after pic in one) I just brushed it with P2000 wet paper and polished it up with with a clean cloth and metal polish cream.

But if you want a finish like it is 3 posts under, it´s a lot more to do!
I started to brush it (dry) with P150 paper and gone up to P400 (P150 --> P240 --> P400). Then I gone over to the wet paper. Began with P600, over P1200 up to P2000! Ony that takes you a few hours if you want a perfect result!
Then I bought a polish homework set for 10bugs from the trade center. It´s a disk you can put in your drill and a polish wax. It´s simple but the result is amazing! Smile
If you make all that very proper, you will get a very very good result and know why the professional polisher takes a lot of money for that work. Big Grin

Yesterday I mounted the old new rims and the engine! I thought the car would be much lower. Banging head

And it will look like this when there are 120kilos extra in the back! Big Grin

Looks really cool with those rims! Cool

But i think you should lower it a bit more  Did you change the suspension or is it stock yet?

Have you already decided in which colour you paint the car?

I think the car will become a bit lower when you refit the windows and other stuff. But I think the 120kgs in the back already pointed that out. Wink
