At least it doesn't look too bad, I've seen much worse. All the snow makes me wish I still had my Subaru, so far I've not had the courage to drive my Corolla in the snow and I doubt I ever will unless the price and availability of AE86s changes radicaly overnight.

Yep...the trouble with rwd snow driving is that you dont have much room for error correction once it's sliding. It does make good practice though..

The nice thing about snow is that everything can be done at really low speeds. Just keep those rear wheels spinning all the time and slowly start giving the car larger steering inputs.
I think its different when you are driving around normally and suddenly a slide catches you unprepaired. But Jon knows all about that by now....

hehe, on my driving lesson yesterday, we were driving in some deserted roads with snow. And as we encounterd some problems with geting up a steep hill. I drive a BMW 316, so its RWD. Allthough I know better my teacher said to give some more power, and ofcourse the rear came out. My teacher sais "damn, lets take another way" I say " I can get it up if you want it".

Full throtle, 2nd gear and we went sideways up that hill Hurray!

EDIT: suposed to be in teh SNOW topic..... could somone move it?
