Blaze's AE86
A quick update:
- the weird noise from the engine it was not a timing issue, but it was actually running only three cylinder ![]() - After the quick ride, the parking brake was working very well. I tried to put the original cable on and was weak again. Put the Celice cable back on and still weak. Could it be that to make the auto adjuster in the caliper work correctly you have to brake a few times while driving and the adjust the nut on the lever? Otherwise i am bit lost ahaha Anyway, next tuesday will try my luck with TÜV inspection, and if all goes well by the end of the month it will finally be road legal ![]() |

The auto adjust works on the braking action from either the pedal or the handbrake lever (depending on the car), so yes, that could very well be the fact.
