Issues with the transmission or the clutch?
The car doesn’t shift when the engine is on, just when it is off, I Bleed the clutch system and cleaned the master cylinder, but still doesn’t shift.

When I try to put reverse the transmission grinds horrible, any Idea.

I drove the car back to home by putting it on first gear and then starting it.

Please Help

Sergio

Have a look underneath the car and have a friend press the clutch pedal.. look if you see any movement at the clutch arm on the bellhousing.
If you dont, then it's a hydraulic problem, otherwise maybe a wrong pressure/ clutch plate or release bearing..

If the car has not been used for some time the clutch plate may be seized to its shaft or the flywheel. It is possible to free it off without removing the transmission.
So has the car been stood for some time, 3+ months ?

Man !!!! You sure got your money's worth out of that plate Huh

It should have been junked when the spline hub tore out, instead of
welding it up. But they all stop working sooner or later, so nothing a
new clutch plate won't fix Smile

As above. Bigport 16 valve motors have a 200 mm (8") clutch.
Smallport 16 valve and 20 valve motors have a 212 mm (8-1/2")
clutch. You can check it by measuring the outside diameter of the
wear face on the flywheel, or the outside diameter of the clutch
plate or pressure plate. They should all be the same.

Getting a full clutch and pressure plate kit would be good idea Smile
And don't forget you need to get a GTS throwout bearing.
