FUEL LIGHT
Does the fuel light work in your hachi?
mine doesn't and although i did the test from the manual (shortcirquit pin no3 in the trunk) it didn't work either... Dumb question
Any help? What is going on?

does the guage still work, if so i have the other problem, guage doesn't work but warning light does !

Mine works too... Perhaps the bulb is dead? I would try checking that, im sure thats blown if it doesnt work when you shortcirquit the plug.

By the way:
When you full the tank, does the gauge go to "Full"???

Cause mine just goes a bit up from 3/4. Dorito86's also.

I'm not sure if my light works as I've never let the fuel level go below half way. But if your gauge is working then I would say your light should, however the light bulb could be blown. I would check that out first....as I think the light and gauge would use the same sender unit to show the level of your tank.... Confused

It could also be that the bulb has a bad connection: with my dash a few lights worked one day and the next day the didn't. When I placed my dash I took the gaugepanel out and checked all bulbs and cleaned all connectors. Now it looks like everything works again. (haven't had any bulbs going bad, but haven't been able to drive it that much. Wink )

I 'll take a look at the light bulb and do what you did Banpei...
