Has anyone had any experience transplanting roof skins?

Have just removed my own roof skin, and my experience is that a 9mm drill will remove 9 out 10 spot welds, some places you would need a 10mm drill.

It's easy to remove the skin, I have just updated my project.

As a chisel, I used a painters filler plate, this way. you can get between the plates, without damaging the plates.

Thanks for that bud, I probably will. I've got some other work to do before tackling the roof skin. I have to strip down and remove some windows from one car without damaging any of the plastics, which is always fun.

Yea that takes some time, if you don't whan't to brake anything :wink:
