hallo
i am not german but i work there and live not far away from german border. yes english is little bit problem for me  maybe i am another carburetor fan here, still in progress, more soon in project section we can meet us on nurburgring maybe and i can learn tricks (how to adjust) from you use you weber style carburetors or motorcycle ones?
