Naaah. He's more of a co-star; i think its great that they evolve this character also, coz the series is long enough to do that, and keisuke has more "flare" than Takumi anyway.

I just hate anime films, where they try to evolve 10 characters in just one hour and a half.. This is good stuff.

I wondered the other day, would i like initial d, if i dint like cars, and hachi ofcourse and stuff... how about you guys?

Except for the music and cars, there's nothing special about it. That's the first anime I've ever seen, and is still the only one. Tongue

I recall those moments when I first saw the episodes with Takumi still using the original engine and beating the shit out of Keisuke and Nakazato. Now that was cool! I still smile when I see the Trueno going downhill accompanied by "No One Sleeps In Tokyo" or "Streets On Fire". Yeah, 1st Stage rocks.

Indeed first stage rocked! The slo-mo "Kansei" dorifto scene at the end of the first episode, where takumi passes Keisuke, accompanied by No one sleep in Tokyo.. best scene in Initial D ever. Imho. Hurray!

I just finished all 43 episodes of GTO - now that was fuuun! Thumbs up! the coolest non-car related anime episodes i've seen so far. Really inspiring. Ready for the ID now! Thumbs up!

Sometimes when I have nothing to do I just seek through my favourite ID episodes, and then switch to eBay in search of AE86's... Damn, because of this anime I like Trueno zenki the most. Smile
