Euro Meet 2005 ?
If we do get to meet, I'm seriously going to get some of you guys to help me improve my driving  . All my suspension work should be done by the end of this year, so at least that will be ready. The remark about bringing another gearbox does worry me though Kristian..how easy are they to break anyway? BTW, where are the other guys this week, it's a bit quiet..

Ivan man... thats was a joke regarding the gearbox.

I have used the same box for 1,5 yrs now & i drive very H A R D.

i do have an extra gearbox laying about..... but all I have done untill now is change the oil every 4000 kms. both in the gearbox, engine & rear axle.
doing this, gives the engine, gearbox & rearaxle several months/yrs longer lifespam.(?).

My car still has the stock 1986 rear axle, & gearbox.. they have now runabout 270 000 kms.

the last 20000 kms i have driven MANY trackdays & really drifted HARD.

no problems what so ever anytime yet.

but "when" the differential gives up.. ill just weld it fot an 100% diff.

K

Kristian,

Nooooooo don't go welded diff you cheater!Smile

As for Randers, I don't know the distance to Randers out of my head for nothing, I used to go there every year, then no longer, this year I was there again in the summer.

As for racing, not no track there, but the backroads around haridslev are SO SO SO SO SO cool! (haridslev lies just outside of randers). Nothing but twisty hilly roads with big farm fields at both sides.

Highly iligal thoughSmile

My mate on the other hand is building an RC offroad track overthereSmile

Bump for this topic.

I am also intersted for a aeu86.org meeting.
If we will go on a track, i think it is a good idea to make a reservation for the track day or something.

Yes, i was also thinking about mobikrog, that would be nice. Its a nice track, relativly cheap to rent, nice place to overnight close to it. And if it would be during the summer, beach is not far away Wink Smile

Owh man sounds good!!! Its a bit of a long drive but managable, but I dont think our brothers in scandinavia or England will be very happy about such a long trip... Still it could be very well worth it.
