Why on earth do I see girls advertising NOS at the D1 GP? Surely this is all about going sideways not destroying your engine just so you can get that little straightaway boost.

Call me old fashioned....
There is actually a guy (dunno his name) who uses NOS to get a little extra power to kick his car into high speed drifts... So they're not that wrong.
Then you always see ads at places they don't belong like Marlboro on a Formula 1 car. Those guys don't smoke for sure.
