Brake questions
Well the NS are definately out then.
I personaly never did more than 3 consecutive laps on the ring (max 15 a day) but the B-Spec took it without effort and lasted for a lot longer too. Mind you the ring is actually not very brake intensive compared to other tracks (i.e. Dijon, Spa). So you might want to have a closer look at the HC+ (no to confuse with the HC-CS) - they are more fade resistant than the B-Spec but will wear the discs and themselfs faster. The HC-CS are slightly easier on the discs than the HC+ but offer less a bit less bite though much more linear (unless your setup is very balanced doubt you'll feel the difference)

Did a bit of looking up figures and the Carbotech XP8, Brembo HP2000 and B-Spec seam to be very similar (all go upto a max of around 600°C). The XP8 only starting at almost 100°C would be out of question for me (think about the drive to the track).

then you simply do the F/R ratio

S = surface
L = lever
µ = brake pad coefficient

The HC+ is also my favorite when it comes to brake pads for the track.

The HC800 is supposed to be between the HC+ and the HC-CS (if you believe their website )
but made in Thailand and not Japan. I would pass...

Circuito Estoril, agressive driving. 97º on my Brembro rotors. Both of them.

Sorry but this was measured with a sensor right after the session.
