Blacktop 20v belt tensioner issues - help
Ok, so I popped a brand new on on my new motor while is was idling. Shocked but ok, then got another new one (from Toyota) and it popped on the dyno (8,100 rpm), and has grenaded my rather expensive head. So I want to ditch the hydraulic tensioner... for obvious reasons.
Anyone got a how to on converting it to a manual one with 16v parts? From what I have seen you go for a 16v water pump, a 16v tensioner and a silvertop timing belt? (I didnt know the ST and BT were different?) |
