I must say, this must be the only place in the world where you can say to someone you hate them, and they take it with great pride because it actually means something good Smile

I should really start making some pictures here down under...

Thanks for posting your pics & story Lennert. LOL - How come the crazy vans have by far the most views??

Remember the M3's clutch isn't disengaging completely, this is why it was hard to shift gears. I have new cylinders to fit to hopefully cure that, but it's a car that's not properly finished. Aside from getting a chip with different ignition curves & sorting out the idle issue I need to remap it again and there's still a lot more other stuff I've got to do on it when I have time. Unfair to judge it against the other two which aren't work in progress Thumbs up!

BTW, the Prelude ran well in the race, although the TEIN suspension we'd fitted temporarily was crap! We're refitting revalved & re-sprung Aragosta suspension next sat. Also fitted a replacement used gear box with used 1 way diff last Saturday since we lost 5th and reverse at the race...
We could have used your help again if you'd been around

:-) good to hear the car ran. How did the brake vent conducts hold out? Wasn't to happy with the first setup might needs some adjustment.

Did you guys fix the rear view mirror setup ?

Now it will be time for the prelude to lose its airco and damping materials. to get it a bit thinner Wink

Brake duct on passenger side was ripped to shreds by the berms but they helped a little whilst they lasted. Yes, it's going on a diet after the next race.... Aircon is due to come out, as are electric windows, etc. Anything that can be removed - will be.

Most important modifications will be different final drive, properly tuned suspension and the 1 way LSD just fitted to it.

So loadsa work to be done over winter, ready for the next races in Spring. Remember this is in the street registered class, so we're restricted to what we can do to it.. Anyways, best not Hyjack your excellent thread about Japan!
