I know that this is an old thread, but hopefully I can get some answers here.
I have converted my USDM SR5 to a EDM/JDM MAP EFI setup, and am using the stock tank with an external MSD fuel pump. I don't doubt it's 255lph or close to it. I have run 3/8" (9.5mm) aluminum tubing for a return line back to the tank. I am using the same size tubing for a supply line. The car idles very high, around 1200 RPM, if I recall correctly (it's been a minute since I started it), but revs very nicely. I know that the injectors are a wee bit large, as the motor had low impedance injectors in it when I got it. Apparently my ECU didn't like that and wouldn't start. Took me a minute to figure that one out. So, I purchased some other high imp. 4AG injectors just to isolate the problem. I will be installing the AFC Neo out of my Supra very soon and should be able to adjust the AFR, but am wondering about the fuel pump. If I get an Aeromotive (or comparable) AFPR, will my current pump be okay? I am going to take the fuel rail this week to have it tapped for a -6AN fitting on the return side so I can use a better FPR. Any info/advice greatly appreciated.
