7agze oil pressure
Recently built 7agze with sc14 on 10w40 oil
Was concerned about oil pressure, fitted capillary guage. Read 28psi on warm idle with clutch in 40-50 psi on normal driving 63 psi max on throttle. Does this sound ok? Guage is in PSI Please help Listen to the whine. Not just a carbon copy. |

Considering the thickness of the oil you are using i would say the psi you have listed are fine.
Perhaps a little low but definately within limits. When WOT oil pressure gets around 40-50 then you need to dig deeper because something isnt right. Personelly for a boosted engine i would look at using 10-50 oil. Steve.....this is sparrrrrtan |
