stock cam specs???

what are the stock cam specs in a 4age? the lobe duration to be exact

240 bluetop 230 redtop

TVIS cams - 240 gross duration, duration @.050" lift is 204. Lift is 7.52mm

smallport cams - 232 gross duration, duration @.050" lift is 196. Lift is 7.1mm

TVIS cams are identical timing... 9 to 51 intake, 51 to 9 exhaust

non TVIS cams are different timing from intake to exhaust. Intake is 8 to 44, while the exhaust timing is 47 to 5

To save me struggling with the maths... can you say what lobe
centrelines these numbers would produce ?? I set mine to 110/110
and it runs fine. But I will be hitting the dyno next week, and would
like to have the cams set at factory centrelines to create a true
baseline dyno chart.

Do you have the TRD Bible? It is inside the AE92 race manual.....

As it happens, it is easy enough to work out.

TVIS cams 111/111 deg lobe centres

Non-TVIS cams 108 intake and 111 exhaust lobe centres.

I'm going to leave mine at 110/110 as the new cams are optimised
for TVIS motors, but I am installing into a non-TVIS motor. I'll post
up the results
