Engine prices
Hiya,

Does anyone know of the prices of some silvertop engines for sale here in Europe? So far I have seen only rediculous prices over here while these engine in Japan and the US seem to be around the 250$ and 500$ mark. Its often cheaper to ship te entire engine over yourself then buy from some of the importers..thats pretty crazy. Have prices started to come down to a more realistic level lately?

Just trying to figure out what my options are..

I think the answer is "NO",
Just not enough FWD levins & Corolla FX etc in Europe,
I paid EU1000 for my Blacktop off a guy in Ireland, there seems to have been alot of Levin BZRs & BZGs imported over the past number of years and are now ending up on their roofs Banging head
I would say the majority of 20v in Europe are in Ireland but everyone knows their value due to the huge 86 culture.
You could go down the road of getting a front end cut shipped from malysia, but you never know what the internals are like

I wouldnt be worried about the ECU & Loom, Get VEMS & then you dont need either + its distributerless so no need to cut the bulk/firewall or hit it with a big hammer,
Id just look for a bare blacktop with history

Do they have a silvertop for 5-600E? I rather doubt it, but might be interesting.

the silvertop can be had for around 150 euro , this is when it´s still en Malaysia , or japan,This is for a engine, that looks and perform great, untested engies can be had for around 80-90 euro.

If you buy only one the freight cost is aournd 230 euro, from malaysia.
The blacktop is more expinsive, but not much.
The GZE isnow almost impossible to get,if you dont get a frontcut, and that is around 900 euro.

And yes i know ,the prices seem cheap, but this is the price, that the engines are being sold for, i have just got a 20feet container chipped to Denmark
