You can pry off the back side of the yellow plug. Trim the current wire ends, and re-attached the wires to the spades. Carefully remove the old ends of the wires from the spades. Then, re-bend the prongs, on to the newly cut ends, and then add a new solder to each of the connections. Finally seal the connector plug with RTV inside the plug, before pushing the back of the connector back into place.
