hey whats up i bought these konig rims for the ae86 there 15x7 im looking for that stretced look on the tyres i left them in today and asked him to put 175/50/15 on them do ye's think that ok?the tyres are ment for a smart car Puh Very Happy

175 on a 7J?!?!?

I thought Oldskulls 185s already looked to small lol

Check out the pictures in oldskulls project thread to see how 185 looks on these rimms.

175 on a 7J will give you the stretched look but i it's only for show i assume? I think it will drive very bad. I also have my doubts about the look of it, because it's sooo small...

"ze" germans put 175/55x13's on 13x8 rims...never driven on a car with stretched tyres, but if they have worse grip than my current 185 profile tyres, then no thanks.

my 14x7 rewinds was 185/60/14 and now I got 15x7 rewinds with 195/50/15

You'll regret those words when you wrap it round a tree because you didnt have enough grip to make an evasive manouvre (or just making it through a slippery corner).

Personally, I like my car to slide only when I push it to do so. Also, lack of grip will also manifest itself in the front of the car.
Although a great ae86 drifter like ueo drives almost exclusively on 185/60 tyres, you have to keep in mind that those are semislicks.
