although theyre both gorgeous ... which do you guys prefer ? i have an '86 trueno sr5 3-door hatchback. Post what you have and why or why not you prefer it over another.

You are mixing things up here.
It is
Trueno vs Levin (pop up lights vs regular lights)
GTS vs SR-5 (different engines, rear axles, trim ...)
So GTS is the version to have unless you are going crazy with the buildup anyway.
Trueno or Levin is just a matter of taste.

Speed inc your mus switch from global mode view of thinking to US one:) i think what ashlee is trying to ask i anynoe like more the GTS(us trueno) or real trueno. and i say i dyslike the usdm bumpers, they can make to looke nice terrible, not the trueno only but if you look an old usdm bmw mercedes golfs etc. but otherway its more protection for the car itself in case o small accident.

ya it is .
in traffic someone slammed on their brakes in front of me and it was an '01 corolla and there was no damage on my end . but the back of his car looked really bad.

I think the the Trueno looks best in hatch and the Levin looks best in Coupe.

That was an option for the kouki cars. I think you can find that trim easily through auctions.yahoo.co.jp.
