A bit of sissy things done to the car sofar and to near future, but who cares right?
So 1st day I bought the Miata was dirty and like this:
so next few days I bought an anti-theft system locking the brake pedal with the steering wheel and a... cover to... cover it

Then when the car was insured I took it for a good wash and start driving around opened top.
Eventually it drifts with a little try.
Oh, its just the 1.6 model claimed by Mazda to make only 90 PS.
All dynos though, prove the engine has 105. Not a big difference but its something
It desperatelly needs new shocks (the ones I use now must have done 90.000 km)
But I desided its good to change the rims also.
And the Torsen will follow.
Turbo can wait...
So, also bought new floor mats (claimed to offer a 19 PS boost to the engine ):
And ordered from Germany a shift and handbrake boots also, black leather with grey stitching
Got a new shift knob also, exactly the same as in the AE86, just a plain brushed alouminum shere.

Since I decided to change the rims I had to go to 15'' from 14'' so in the future I can fit the biggest 1.8 brakes
So I started Photoshoping rims.
Like these two TSW I found in good prices:
But as NoHachi said in the past, the Miata is made for lightweight rims.
And since the OZ Superlegera is a bit expensive, I only had one chance:
The Miata Mk2 oem classic rims in 15'' weight only 5,1kg each (TSW around 8+).
When I made the photoshop I was conviensed
But I had to sell my 14'' to get the 15'' and a collegue of mine wanted them.
Of course he had no money, so he offered to trade his 17x7 Advanti Racing with my 14x5,5 Artec
Today we changed rims and OF COURSE the 17'' are for sale!
Nice but not for me!

LOL! It looks more like your miata has bicycle wheels under it.
However: very nice to see your miata and you being happy with her.

I think the rims would look cool if you would have a bodykit and lowerd car.
Now the rims are overdone compare to the car

Congrat for the MX-5! My daily driver is a 2003 1.8. Handling is amazing.
The hungarian Miata community looks like an exeption, 'cause they are friendly and has no "gay" or "snob" attitude.

I do not intead to keep these stupidly-large-Fast&Furious rims.
They will go asap!
Gay community? Maybe.
I found topics like "MX5 and iPod" or "MX5, is it a car for everybody?"
I thought I wanna throw up
But I m here, not there, right?
KMA...

okay so i've read the infamous thread. since it is a bit outdatted i'll continue to flame you here.
Belive me i know how it is when you put so much money in it and stuff still dont work. I was about to sell my hachi 2 times. But still decided to hang in here. Love it to much. So its a shame no doubt; but maybe when you have more time or money, you'll get a new hachi and fix it up.
Onto the miata. Surely its a great car. I was so surprised how it handles. Its pretty much the best handling car ever. its so neutral, just perfect. Couldnt say its a drift machine tho. I think it has a bit of a short wheelbase for that purpose. Though i had the most fun of my life drifting a miata in snow. (Note: my hachi died just before winter).
My friend (whose miata i've driven) had this terrible accident 2 months ago. The miata is tottaled; it crashed into a concrete fence, roled over, grinded the roof on the asphalt for some 50metres and than crashed into another concrete fence.. Amazingly the roof had withstood the impact, so my friend got it of only w/ some bruises and a light concusion. And had no safety arches, so those seats have done their job for sure. safety wise that miata isnt so bad. though the side impact might be dangerous..
anyway its a great car, hope you have many happy moments w/ it; besides i think miata suits your poser-nature more than the AE86.
oh and when buying rims go for the WORK EQUIP 4 spoke shuriken type. those are made for miata.. ill try and find a pic..

All i can read is: "bla bla bla i betrayed the ae community with this girly car"
I know greece is nice, was there before on an island near Albanian border (krf - dunno how you call it). But with all do respect, try to restrain yourself from showing off your big "nature", or whatever you like to call it.

Korfu, its name is Korfu.
You should see the other side of Greece, the Aegean not the Ionian sea
I dont usually show off wwith words, but for you I made an exception. You deserved it
