Hmmm, know very little people who bought a hachi after playing Gran Tourismo and driving the hachi... I didn't even tried the car (or the Silva S13 K series) in Gran Tourismo if I didn't saw Initial D back then...

If you take Gran Tourismo for instance: it's very hard to keep up competition in the hachi unless you know what you are doing and know how to set up the car. Most players will just take another skyline, do a t3 upgrade and outrun every car in the competition. Most funny when a friend of mine was stuck in GT3 with the 80's cup: I bougth the Trueno, made a few adjustments and I could keep up with the rest. Unfortunately I could not win though, but if you keep in mind that the Trueno was lacking about 30 pk compared to the rest of the field I found it quite incredible. He insisted in buying a Silvia Q series and do a t2 upgrade (+30pk compared to the field) and ofcourse we were able to win. But he was surely amazed about what the hachi could do. Smile

Anyway, enough offtopic. I'll see if I can find NFSU2 and try it myself. Puh

That's because he pulled down some grafic settings.. like shadow under the car and all. It looks much better on my system, and yeah, the head lights work.

I have it, and is so iritated by the fact that, if youi want to advance in the game, you have to make the hachi ugly!
I like the original lights, ok some rims and such are ok, but most of them are pure horror! Shocked

Pfff, bought the game and played it non stop today. Talk about adrenaline rush. Shocked

Anyway, indeed you have to molest the hachi to advance in the game, but to my findings it is possible not to overdo it. And besides that: I'm not going to put neon underneat a hachi. Mad

At least I'm very satisfied by the drifting races: they are quite good, a lot of competition
