From what I can understand,most of if not all of the sellers won't ship outside of Japan.You must need a kind of middle man to help you out with the auctions and he will do all the things that has to be done to help you get he items,you just pay for the item,shipping and extra charges/fees to complete the whole transaction,correct me if I'm wrong.

Just google for auction services etc.. some will pop up. Even googling on buying from yahoo japan works.
The prices always seem very cheap on yahoo but can grow quickly with taxes, customs, shipping (2x) and handling. A rough estimate is that a part costs 3 times the price on yahooJP by the time it is delivered at your door. This suprised me a couple of times. Great for hard to get parts though.

i get my stuff through a guy in japan.
You see something nice on YAJ, email him that you want that thing.
He sends an estimate, you pay, he bids. If you win the item, he will receive the item and sent it to you.
It costs time, and money, but for some parts it's almost impossible to find overhere, and gets sold on YAJ for really cheap money (i got 2 work equip01 wheels for 75 euro, and 2 Enkei Cross Fever Racings for 60 euro, both sets came around 190 when they arrived). But i bought an LSD for my KE, that came around 450 landed (complete diff), which is not a bad price i think .
Just like what NoHachi says, calculate on price*3 and you get a nice estimate of what it'll cost to get your stuff at home

Hi,
I canīt imagine to pay the price *3 with taxes and shipping. Is it so much more expensive than buying from USA?
I am thinking about buying a TRD gear set one day, so it would be really expensive to pay the price *3
When buying an expensive part, shipping should cost much less % of the price...

Hi Raki,
Thats how alot of people think. Shipping should only be a small % of price. But the reality is. Shipping is expensive, especially for heavy items. DOn't forget, these parts are traveling halfway around the world.
In the end, shipping heavy rimms for 100 euros around the world. Driving my car to the Nurburgring and back already cost me over 200 euros in gas alone! Driving from Hoofddorp to the Nurburgring is 800km. Thats, uhm, 1% of the distance from Hoofddorp to Tokyo?
I do agree the tax man are just thieves.. They do nothing, but in the end over 1/3rd of the total cost of the item is just tax, heck depending on how (un)lucky you are it may even be nearly half..

Its not only the weight of an item that makes the shipping expensive. The size is the problem. Lets say you want to ship a front bumper, the sizes are over max limits and it doesnt weight that much, but you will probably pay 400 euro for shipping . If you compare that to 4 wheels without tires, heavier than a bumper but surface shipping is 140 euro.
So its not completly true to say its a percentage of the price. Parts with acceptable sizes and not heavier than 30kg are no problem to ship. If you need prices for several sorts of shipping to your country, give me a pm. I have a lot of info about the shipping.
And then again its not only shipping Think about:
- Exchange fee
- Tansfer fee ( Paypal -> 4 - 4,5% )
- National shipping ( within Japan )
- International shipping
- Import tax ( in NL -> 4% )
- VAT tax ( in NL -> BTW 19% )
- Your bidder fee in Japan

The times 3 rule sucks..but everyone that I have ever seen ordering anything over Yahoo comes up with the same number. We have seriously high taxes in the Netherlands, so if you don't live here, it might be like 2.5*yahoo price.
You can still get some bargains though. Nardi steeringwheels for half the price you pay here (even with all the shipping). Rear lights for next to nothing (unless you want to pay 300E to have a pretty red line over them )..etc.
