The Pilots 1st day out with a Millington Diamond race engine,,
I think (???) the are usually about 300bhp

SICK engine. sounds like a 4 cylinder but can't imagine this being a 4age?

Sequential gearbox with column change. Proper bit of kit. You ought to see Phil Collins 2.5 Diamond Millington..... Shocked
