Hey!

I'm getting real tired and pissed, spending a lot of energy worrying about my goods, which probably have never been shipped from JOE69...

So I'm going to purpose a group hunt for this guy! I'm considering hiring a person or more, in Malaysia to hunt this Johan person down, and get the money he owes me. Then I will gladly spend all the money paying the guy / guys who has found him...

I would like to know if any body else has thought of this, and if they would like to be a part of this plan.

hey, I understand your problem but I don't know wether it is wise to organise a Manhunt on the public forum. I'll let the admins decide. Problem is that it would be easier to do it behind the scenes. If he reads this he'll make sure he won't be found!

I can see your point, but doesn't he know that already? There's a lot of guys on drift.com.my who's looking for him. Maybe this will make him understand that we Europeans also means business! I'm getting tired of his excuses and lame explanations...

We do understand all the trouble with Joe, we do understand that he owes money/goods to a lot of people here on this forum and we all do feel like we should do something to help you out. We did ask around (and pull some strings here and there) if anyone had seen him and that helped in getting responses from drift.com.my.

But in our opinion (me and Mux) as admins we don't think this is the place to organize a manhunt and this is going one step too far. If you want to do such a thing: please do it on your own, not through here. I hope you can understand our point of view.

I'll keep this topic open for now, but keep in mind we may lock this topic anytime. Wink

I do understand you and Mux. But I believe that I need to state, that this isn't a plan for any illegal or evil conducts. But rather a gathering of the Europeans who have been scammed by this Johan.

I believe that there must be some kind of bailiff in Kajang, who can collect the money or something.?

Or at least we can try to contact the local authority, who can shut his shop down, or what it is that he has going.

But let me assure you again, that this is NOT an illegal undertaking.

Hey Veiss,

If you wish to persue any form of legal action towards joe, i.e. find a lawyer or similar who can act on your behalf in Malaysia and file a suit of forms on behalve of a group of customers of Joe who have been wronged by him, then that is fine by us and we will support you in any way we can. But please be careful of the words you choose. We understand your anger in this but this remains a public forum.

We're glad you've confirmed this isn't any form of illegal hunt for the persona.

In the end for us, Joe is innocent until proven guilty, no matter how much the facts speak against him. Internet has a way of twisting reality. For us as admins we'll always have to deal with the distinct possibility Joe is as much a victem of circomstance. That doesn't help you, you still have lost money, but it puts Joe's situation in a different light. It does mean playing 'devils advocate' from time to time.
The only right way to tackle this problem is by lawful means..

No matter what the outcome of that though, there are boundries we should never cross.

Make a list of what he owes the people in europe. Combine that with malaysia and give it to the authorities in thailand. (or thaiwan where the hell he is)

DO it like this:

person...........

bought .............

price............

Than its clear. Than you can make a true legit way of getting your money back. He owes me to. But I rather do it the correct way. Besides hiring someone who could screw you over isn't exactly smart!

I can see your point, but from my point of view, the money is lost all ready, so if another one should "screw" me then what the h....

But what you say is exactly what my plan is. But I can't do it if people doesn't let me / or whom will make the official complaint know.

So people, please PM or email me this info if you want to make a complaint:

Name:

Goods ordered:

Price payed:

Date of payment:

*optional* Your own comment

Then I'll let the officials in Malaysia know.
