Cool find man!

I do love what he said:
All you need, this coil over setup (T3 I guess), cost you 200 something $ And thats my budget

I'm going like, huh, you need a little more if you want to go shortstroke...

Next moment he pops out the Tokicos!!! Forget to mention the Tokico's cost alot more then those adjustable coilover sleeves Smile

Still its a cool movie, shows very well what it takes to do this.

You forgot to watch all three movies, he clearly states the shocks, camber plates and rca's are not included. Damn funny vids in there though... especially the strut tube commercial.
Nice find!

Why do a conversion when you can do the T3 Advanced Strut Spacer.

Because you lose stroke.

The guy fully explains this in the vid when he puts a standard sized shock next to the Tokico's.

As Jan sais, you loose stroke, risk bottoming out, and depending what type of shocks you have, have an optimal range based on the piston being dead center when the car is standing still. If the piston sits alot lower because you've lowered your car, or you've put a big spacer underneath the shock can not do its work properly. This problem, if I have understood the theory correctly, does not influence oil based shocks (such as KONI), just gas based shocks (tokico, agx, etc).
