Hellod!!!
Anyone knows if the toyota carina st (ta40) rear axle is the same as the toyota ae86, or if the lsd of a ae86 will fit the diff??. Has the carins diff disc brakes??

If not, I heard that the AE86, rear end can be used on the Carina.

Axle should be the same since ta40 axle is the same as ta60 axle, but it uses drum breaks. However I think the mounting points are different. Perhaps you can ask Brawnie: he just sold his AE86 with Carina axle.

Zenki AE86 diffs wil fit the TA12/TA22/TA40/TA60 solid rear ends, but you need to take off 6mm of the halfshafts to get it to accept an LSD

That's good info!
Anyone got a zenki diff lying around for me somewhere?
