Hey Everyone,

I've locked our old topic and started a new one because we have an important announcement.

As you may already have read, I personally am moving to Australia in the next month or two. When Art and myself started the shop as an extension of the forum we did so because there was a need for a parts supplier in Europa, not because we're expert part sellers. We really went in this as an out of control hobby. It turned out that running such a shop takes much more time and risk then we ever expected. It has been loads of fun and we've learned alot of good stuff.

With me leaving, it is impossible for Art to carry this weight on his shoulders. With more and more other parties (some full time established shops) entering the market the need for our little shop is diminishing as well. So we have decided its time to move on. shop.aeu86.org will close in due time, we will sell the stock we still have, possibly discounting certain products. We're also planning one or two one time offer things. However, once everything is gone thats that.

We WILL continue the forum, we WILL continue the commercial sales section for other venders, and some of the smaller products (such as stickers) we will keep selling but not from our shop, but as part of forum merchandise.

So if you still want bushings, brakes, shocks, or other parts from our store. Be quick before it sells out for good!

Stock and prices:
- 1 bushing set 135 euro
- 1 set of mintex front pads 47,50 euro
- 2 sets of mintex rear pads 17,50 euro
- 1 RNP 4.7 430 euro
- 1 Solid spacer 65 euro
- 1 set of AGX 420 euro
- 1 set of KONI AE86 370 euro
- A bunch of oil filters 4 euro
- 1 Tein camber plates 200 euro
- 2 AEU86 camber plates 125 euro
- 1 set of 2door rear taillight gaskets (zenki) 65 euro

Hey Roel,

No we never got a good supplier for the brake lines, for some reason goodridge sells their lines to a party like us more expensively then importing them from America. It just makes better sence for people to order those from America (try http://www.tmengineering.net/)

As for the brake pads, we have M1144 mintex pads for the front, and normal compound mintex brakes for the rear still in stock, but swiftly running out.

GTSi-R,

We don't have rotors in stock at the moment, and probably won't, but you can get OEM replacements cheaply at any autoparts shop around the corner in Holland. They aren't grooved or drilled but I don't think that will make that much difference on our cars unless you're planning to do competition.
The mintex brakes are pretty good for our little calipers. They need to be run in before they will bite but then they DO bite.

Doc, only the AGXs, but we will only sell them as a full set. We can still get those koni AE92 shocks if you want?

Eircam, using your brakes is a definate plus, unless you name is Sabine and you drive around the Nurburgring. There is a nice little myth going around everything on her car needs to be replaced regularly, except her brake pads. She says she hardly ever brakes...
Just sent us your details to orders@aeu86.org and we'll sent off some pads quickly.

We'll get the stock in order this weekend and post up the list, but as it stands now, unless some reservations are cancelled, we have:
- 1 bushing set
- 2 sets of mintex front pads
- 2 sets of mintex rear pads
- 1 RNP 4.7
- 1 Solid spacer
- 1 set of AGX
- 1 set of KONI AE86
- A bunch of oil filters
- 1 Tein camber plates
- 3 AEU86 camber plates
- 1 set of 2door rear taillight gaskets (zenki)
- Loads of stickers
- Several mintex pads for other cars (see list on our shop site)

So be quick!

So there is no chance of letting someone else take over the shop side of things then?

Hey Xaerob,

Anyone is welcome to contact us to take over our stock and get a list of our contacts and get a head start on running a europian based hachiroku shop. We've proven there is a market here, not enough to do something full time but there is loads of potential for growth. If I wasn't moving to Australia we would sure to continue our efforts.

Thing is, aslong as myself and Art are official owners of the shop, we are financially liable for anything that happens. That puts great responsibility on whoever runs the shop in our names, and means putting ourselves at great risk.

Transferring full ownership of the shop to another person would be the best way to go commercially, but since the shop is tied in to forum we're not to thrilled about that idea either. We can't be running the forum and someone else a shop on the same name without a serious conflict of interest.
We've build a good name for this forum and I hope that we've build a good reputation with our customers. We don't want to compromise on that.

A little of both, I was offered a cool job there, but have been wanting to leave NL for a little while now.
