Let's take some pictures of the rust!!!
Doors
Other spots
My internet connection is kinda slow (right now I'm at work), but later I will put the rest of the pictures.
Five long mounths of rust removing
I bought some goodies for my 86.
Levin Grill Fog Lights
Konig Rewind wheels
Trunk with TRD Spoiler (Thanks to my mate JonnyAE86)
Side Skirts
Etc etc I don't even remember it all. Later I will put a complete list.
Thanks for reading

Yes the rust is pretty much on doors and places where it can be easily removed. Well now that the 86 is rust free it's a bit more every than it was
Thanks everyone for your support
Now for some more (old) pictures
Fenders are ready
Brand new OEM roof top
Old one was like this
Now for some more rusty pictures
Door, before
During
After
Some other spots
(I don't have the "after" picture")
Passenger door, during
Don't have any "after" pictures
Cleaning the dirt
All Clean!
And some more
So this was around March 2009. In May 2009 we have this
Let's clean it up
Gas thank
And in the end of May, he comes home
Will post some more pics of him later and of the engine wich is brand new
Also I'm sorry if my english is bad
Cheers

Thank you Jan!
Let's update this thread.
Side Skirts Thanks to Andre_Costa (from AE86PT) for the Group Buy and to isac (also from AE86PT) for shipping them to me
Thanks to JonnyAE86, my 86 now has a TRD Wing
Soon brand new Sprinter Trueno tail lights. I'm expecting that the car will look something like this...
...and if all goes well, soon my 86 will be at the paint shop.
Thanks for watching.
Cheers

Kinda hard right now because my E30 isn't ready yet
And after the E30, comes the 86
But hey, I don't to it all by myself!!! I wish I could restore a car by myself... I only do small things at home, like mounting and dismounting parts...

Wow!
Great project!
The sunroof reminds me of my old Trueno! It wasn't as bad as yours, but close!
BTW: I thought there were no rusty hachis in Portugal!

Well...Mine has no rust at all
In azores is like JonnyAE86 said, it rains a lot. Also there is more humidity, the islands are surrounded by the ocean (salty water...). And the previous owner kept the 86 out of the garage for years, there was a lot of gum tape in the sunroof...
Let me put a pic of my sticker collection
BTW the ond that says "O DIESEL MATA" means "DIESEL KILLS"
Also, paint shop here we go Maybe in 2 wheeks the 86 will be painted! I hope so...
At least the E30 is almost ready...
