Ok guy im moving to Chico from texas in a few weeks. I need to know how hard is it to get smog passed on a car like mine. Its a Texas car. No smog pump no cat, None of that. Will my 270,000 mile car pass smog there? If not im going to have to sell it here in texas befor I leave. Any help would be great.

Well, I couldn't say for certain but my hachi didn't pass smog and it has all the original smog equipment. if it doesn't have a cat...I would say theres a good chance it won't pass.

What year, what model? (sr-5 or gt-s?)
You will need a cat conv, the rest of it might slide by if the guy doesn't go super anal-retentive on you. As long as it runs good, doesn't have blue smoke/burn oil and the timing is set correctly you 'should' pass.
