|
|
Briefly presenting my AE86. I bought it early 2008 from PetzK (also a member of this forum). It's a '85 Coupé, orange, and in pretty good shape. Apart from the suspension and color, there aren't many mods done to the car... yet!
So far, I've bought a set of König B.Bombs in 7,5x15" et 0 with Toyo R1Rs in 195/50 which can be seen on the pictures. I also ordered the Greddy Type S Suspension with RCAs aswell as a TRD-header, new rear lights and side skirts which should arrive within a week or two. More to come very soon:
- HKS Silent Hi-Power catback exhaust
- metal catalytic converter
- Prothane Bushing Kit
- Panhard Bar
- many more...
I'll try to keep this updated with pictures. For now, some pics of how the car looks like at the moment:
.
.
Cheers, Yves.

Honestly, i couldn't really test the potential and grip-level of the car due to the tires rubbing on the front-fenders when pushing hard in corners. But it feels really good and the grip-level on wet track impressed me. I thought it was a lot more tricky to handle. I'll keep you updated as soon as my Greddy- suspension is installed and i can run more negative camber.

Haha, yea, sure. The suspension arrived today and now i will go way looowww. You will have to cut your springs more to keep up with that Btw, when will your TE71 arrive over here? I got to see that ride as soon as possible!

Sooo, this weekend i took some pictures of my car with the most recent mods on it (Greddy Type S, Sideskirts by JonnyAE86 aka Oishi performance, black bonnet, painted bumpers, TRD header). Some more parts are about to arrive and should be installed very soon (update to follow on this one).
The 350Z belongs to a friend of mine... we both don't really know much about cameras and stuff... loads of pictures were quite trashy, but a few came out ok i'd say.
Enjoy!

So, here's the last update for this year i guess.
I've installed the HKS Silent Hi Power, the Cusco Strutbar and got my wheels painted in a new colour.
On the 7th of octobre, i will be on the trackday at Anneau du Rhin to see the real potential of the Greddy Suspension. After that, i'll start working on the car again.
*EDIT: I'd also like to thank Mikzu IV, Kid, PetzK and Bob (the one with the 350Z) for offering me a lot of help and time on this project. Lots of respect to you guys!!!
The list of things to do for this winter:
- new bushings
- new paint for the rear axle
- instal Cusco LSD and panhard bar
- 20V BT engine swap
I'll update as soon as there will be some progress. For now, i'll leave you with the pics of the latest mods:
