Update time
Oldskull collected my seats this week, hope they fit good
I got a new sidelight and cabletied the rest of my car together.
I sold my ssr's , reason is, the car will be used only for drifting and they are too nice to drift on risking them to get hurt
So i bought 2 6x15 primera steelies, which wil be widend to 8x15 et-25 They will go on the front to clear the massive lock. I used an offset calculator to measure the difference, and the 8x15 will stick out 3cm more then the 7x14 et-8 (et12 + 20mm spacer), but with the increased negative camber from the camber plates and pulled fenders they should sit nicely. I know the numbers sound drastic but it all done for inside clearance, i don't want to rip my front tires apart mid drift
Also have a pair of Yokohama Parada spec2 in 195/50-15 to go on them.
I got the tires here they look awesome and are basically semi slicks. And they were cheap as chips too. I have found a tire shop in Aken (Germany) which sells them for 52€ a piece
Currently my car is in 4x4 mode as i put back the old springs for technical check this week. After it passed the lowering springs will go back on with the aeu86 camber plates which have been here since december.
Also picked up a 6-point rollcage which will get fitted after the check.
And all of this needs to be done before the 10th of july, round 5 of the kamikaze cup in zolder, and this time i'm going for victory
I even sold my radio and speakers and took out more parts, like if there were any left in the first place
Anyone who wants to see me take on ja-sper's sr86, see you in Zolder on 10 july
No worries jasper your still my hero
gr. Randy

Good to see that all is good after the crash.
15x8 -25 will be fine with your fenders.
I have 15x8-20 up front with just slightly rolled fenders.

I hope so
My car is street legal for another year , went to get it checked this morning, and it's all back to how it was before now . Lowering springs with AEU86 camber plates are now fitted
Tomorrow the exhaust will go back on and going to get started on mounting the rollcage. Never done anything like this, so should be fun .
Then i just have to wait till my wheels are done, mount the tires and pray they will fit Should be no problem, if they don't i'll pull out ye old hammer
And then it's of to the track on the 10th, can't wait to try it out

Kamikaze Cup round 5 yesterday.
Qualified 3rd after some amazing twins with jasper and finished 6 in the finals. What an amazing day, too bad my widend steel wheels weren't ready and i had to run 10year old pirellis on the front
Looking forward to battleing soon.
Car performed great, but near the end something loosend up on the right front shock, need to check that. And my exhaust falling off every 5 minutes. But didn't notice any of it during the battles so couldn't care less
On to round 6

Just noticed today that the prothane bushing kits are also available in black , instantly mailed T3 and they will be ordered monday. So stupid, if i only knew it sooner
Took off the front today (bumper, lights,...) To fix the rest of the damage and adjust the bumper and lighting a bit. Can't afford to buy new blinkers everytime i have a little bump, so i'm gonna install the blinkers into the sidelight, and the sidelight are going together with the headlight.
It might not look as good, but that doesn't matter.
And now that the bumper if off it will get sprayed together with the rear bumper. When those are done i'll do the rest of the car

You have orange sidelights... Why not put the blinkers inside the orange part then?

I wanted to do that, but i can't, they would replace the side blinkers not the front ones.
The rollcage is in the car btw, what a crap job too, but it's in and the difference is amazing. The back kicks out much easier and i feel the ride is stiffer, less body roll.
On the 16th of august i'm going for my first dry driftday on Brustem airfield. I'm just gonna try how it's gonna go and hope nothing will break. I'm taking my backup car (dad's s14) with me just in case
I need to upload some new pics with the cage in and bumpers in the new color.

Nice work on the bumper I like it.
Your cage looks very much like mine.
Only the rear bar is opposite to mine.
What size wheels and tires do you have on the front? Do they rub the chassis at full lock?
I had to hammer some more bits away today. With 15x8 et-20 195/50/15.

My fronts will be 8x15 et-25, but haven't got them yet. With my old wheels i had to hammer in some bits, but the should clear now.

Well done for today, only did the bushings of the rear swaybar, was just too hot to work and couldn't get the 4links off. Tomorrow will be even warmer so working on the car is impossible.

It's a bit of a pita to take the 4links off if the car is on the ground.
I was lucky that I could use a carlift and a press to get the old bushings out.

Changed the rest of the bushings on the rear today. It was a bit of a job, without a ramp or the proper tools, but they are in and working great.
There is more noises comeing in the car (don't mind it tho), and i did the first burnout since i bought my car. No more rear axle hop
The car feels much tighter on the rear.
A great mod for a sporty driver

Little onboard vid from Brustem
Link
For those who are afraid stock power isn't enough, worry no more , only air filter and exhaust, I was ripping up tires in 3rd gear, so was Bubble_Drift
New rear tires only last 10minutes on the dry
