Here's my project. Lately i was thinking of selling because of the rust it has but i don't know for sure. But here it is anyways.
It's from 1987.
Exterior:
stock
Interior:
-sabelt bucketseat
-sparco steeringwheel
mechanics:
-bilstein shocks
-springs:unknown
-open airfilter
It's has 318800 km on the clock but it supposed to have a newer engine with only 150000 km .
It has all the rust a hachi can have ,so it needs alot of work .
Engine pics :
Plans:
-Fix all the rust
-Prothane bushings
-lower teh bitch : coilovers needed
-rims : wide wheels
-zenki grill
-new battery holder
-new exhaust
-new bucketseat (bride,sparco)
-new steeringwheel
-give engine an overhaul
etc....
Pics of the rustspots will follow.
grtz

nice ride!
sounds like a project alright hehe. Is that a changed muffler as well?
your engine bay looks pretty clean, cleaned it yourself prior to pictures? or previous owner really did a good job with bay maintenance? (clean cam covers and all)

@Cavey, ow i forgot to tell ,it's a "remus" muffler . But it doesn't have a nice sound ,that's why i want to change it .
All cleaning is done by myself . Maybe i'm gone steamclean the engine ,they told that works really good if you want to have a clean enginebay.
But the engine has a lot of rusty brackets ,but i'm gonna repaint them in matt black.

20 minutes ago i was driving to the local store and my left indicators started blinking like crazy. So i pulled over and i saw that the left one in the bumper wasn't working. When i got home i checked the lightbulb but that was very good ,so i think it's a wire who has bad connection but i'll check it tomorrow .

Not really an update but did some work on the hachi today.
Last week i noticed that my starting problems came back.
So i decided to take out the sparkplugs to check them.
I took them out and immediatly saw what the problem was . All the sparkplugs were very bad, they were almost completly brown. Bad maintenance from the previous owners .
Here is how they looked like but a lot worse. (googlepic)
I'm going to the shop tomorrow to buy new ones.
