We need to make some inside adjustments and then clean the whole car in side out before paint. My hope is set to go for paint at the end of August start of September.
I have and engine spare standing by to go in the car for start.

you can heat up your bumpers and straighten them out and then once straight let them cool into shape.

i have used a space heater in the past to heat up plastic bumpers so i could pop out dents and strighten bumpers. its a good way of doing it just make sure you dont heat it too much.

Robo,
Little status-update on your mystery homemade megasquirt spinoff:
-It runs Megasquirt N Spark Extra 029v
-Input section is nearly completely functional (needed to resolder a few connections though). Cant get it to read the tach signal yet.
-The power circuit was not working, seems to be a bad contact. Have tried to fix this, will see if it works tomorrow.
-I have traced back all the connections that go to the 4age ecu connector for future reference.
I think we'll have this puppy functional within a few days.

Well thats the surprise. In the meantime I scored a party MS setup with EDIS. Also done the clenaing of the car today for last prime coat then it goes to the spray painter.

Sorry if I ruined a surprise, but it isnt that exiting now is it.
More good news for you, got the tach signal working too. It now recognises when the engine is turning and switches it's onboard relay for the fuelpump on, then starts sending signals to the injectors.
Still need to get the injector signals visible on my stim to find out if they are ok, and I'm still not completely sure about the map sensor signal, but I'd say it is 95% tested and working ok.
My fix for the power circuit worked so that's sorted too.
You can easily use a wideband O2 sensor since it looks like this megasquirt was already built with a narrowband O2 sensor in mind. Cant find any connector for one on the wiring loom though.

Started to go for the final stretch now!
Yes I had to molest my Panda because I needed the fiber wings. (aside of that I didn't buy rust free OEM wings for nothing)
