alimonos, I do not have the installation card. I followed the recommendations that can be read in the club4ag's tech reference. Max lift for both is at 100 degrees.

I was able to put the exhaust camshaft at 100 degrees, no sweat. I installed this camshaft as the Toyota manual recommends and I measured max lift at 110 degrees. Then I rotated the cam gears until I got 100.

The intake was not that easy. For some reason, the measurement didn't work the same way for the intake side. If I install it as the Toyota manual says, I'll read 120 degrees when I think I should read 110.

Miguel, I've already ran the engine with these camshafts and stock intake manifold and although the pinging almost disappeared, the performance is worse. That is, I think, because what I've said earlier that the engine needs more air and the restrictions from the stock manifold are too much. Air gets hotter and the engine needs to spend more energy sucking air.

Thank you for your comments

Best regards

robokill, it is power at the crank. It would be a little far fetched to have that kind of power to the wheels with my setup!!

Anyways, that dyno usually "gives" power that the engines don't have...

Between 150 and 155 at the crank might be a little more realistic.

Best regards

Some more work done.

Closed the throttle a little to lower the idle, installed the pipercross air filter and 40mm trumpets.

Hey mate, which pipercross filter is it? PX500 or PX600? Do you know if it will fit on 4AGE 20V ITBs?

cheers

OMG that is a lot of transmission noise? Gearbox or diff?

What kind of brake setup are you running? Problems with fading?

harkes, the noise comes from the diff. It is now disassembled and i'm trying to figure out what i'm gonna do with it.

I'm running front brembo rotors with ferodo ds2500 pads, stock rear rotors with pagid fastroad pads, goodridge brake lines and Ferodo Dot 5.1 brake fluid. All calipers and brake master cylinder were rebuilt. No fade at all.

Thanks roco!
