Hey Lennert, if you want we can swap between the USDM bumper of the Trueno and your original bumper. Been wanting to get rid of that thing for a while now.

Rolling eyes Been away for a while. Lots to do.

The head of the engine is worked now. Still need to order new valves and valve guides.

Engine is suppose to be a GZE but thats not yet 100% confirmed.

I am in serious search of new shocks. Koni sucks for a track car. I will concentrate on the bottom of the car to get it done. Than I have to make it ready for paint.

When its that time. I have more pics.

Any suggesitons on the shocks ? I need short stroke. And it needs to handle 8 and 7kg springs. no coilovers.

hey dj thought of tokico hts but not much use. I don't need adjustable dampers as the car will be mostly used for drifting .... but the koni's just don't do the trick.

I need something cheap and strong enough for teh 8kg springs

I removed the gearbox (it was still in) Last piece of the wire loom. Gas cable and speedo cable. I did my daily sanding part and some underbody protection.

The pictures of the passenger and driver side aren't very clear but its how the plate is welded in caoted and protected

Dust off the topic....... Confused

Well I got my dad to help me today. He was a car restorer in his younger years (like 30 ago) but he still has the touch. I also cleaned the engine bay of the steering wheel clutch and brake cylinder.

Ok now I bumped onto something funny. On the right side of the body I found after some sanding another colour.

Blue!

Which colour should I make the car

033 white?

or original blue from that year. (thinking about mux his old car)

Blue!

But you can see the original colour on the type plate right, so what does that say?

Maybe it was in an accident at some point and the rear quarter panel was replaced by one from a blue car???

didn't take pics yet. But today I regret to have found 4 small spots that needed some welding. Luckily that I found it now before the respray starts.

My dad did some prework for the paint and we still need 2 more saterdays I think before its ready for paint.

I will be taking parts of my panda soon:

-Hood (it has a dent and the one on the racer hasn't)
-wings (FRP got orginial ones for the panda)

When the car is resprayed I will take more parts from the panda (panda goes for restoration after the racer is done)

-Engine
-exhaust
-TRD springs

When this is happening I will post all pics. Have to get some stuff ready so that we can continu the parts for the racer. When all parts are aquired I will get everything painted and then buildup time.
