I'm in the process of buying a bride seat (zeta iii) and seat rail from nengun.com and I'm still wondering which seat rail to choose, because I need it to slide, and it seems to me that AE86 specific bride seat rails do not slide (I mean the ones that fit full bucket seats, because there are sliders for reclinable seats).
Best regards
PS: AWESOME project mate! Keep up the good work!! |
Hi there I am building custom seat brackets that will be welded in and non adjustable as I don't think there will be anyone other than me driving this when finished !!
AE86's are not an easy car to mount seats in and keep them adjustable while keeping head room

Well progress has been very slow again, as work seems to take up most of my time at the moment, I have been working at planing and placing all the components for the fuel delivery system as you see lots of Earls fittings are involved!!
The area looked quite large beside the fuel cell but when you have to fit in a surge tank, two pumps, filters, return lines and then the diff pump as well then things start to get a bit cramped.
I have decided on the place for the dry sump tank , to try and spread the weight evenly and keep it as low as possible.
And while I was wasting money I bought this as well, the perfect licence plate for this car!
I am racing my Rally car tomorrow so there goes another weekend and next weekend I am co driving in the GT3 in a 2 day Tarmac event http://www.targa.co.nz/ so progress will be slow.
